IN A NUTSHELL
Location: North-East Hungary, southeastern slopes of the Zemplén Mountains which are of volcanic origin and abound in a variety of volcanic rocks and soil types.
Area: Our vineyards are historically classified as grand crus and premier crus situated around the villages of Tarcal, Bodrogkeresztúr and Mád.
Vineyard sites: Kakas, Veresek, Poklos, Gyertyános, Deák, Lapis, Budaházy, Kassi and Dereszla
Grape varieties: Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sauvignon Blanc.

Main points of organic viticulture:
- Limited chemical use by using minuscule amounts of copper and sulphur
- Instead of systemic chemicals we use more natural products like cumin seed oil, orange oil, cinnamic acid, baking powder and other natural substances
- No artificial fertilizers, no herbicides
- Natural pest management
- Soil management with compost and diverse cover crops to increase bio-diversity
- Strict canopy work and management
